Krasnodar Region wins awards at 32nd MITT International Tourism and Hospitality Exhibition

The exhibition was held in Moscow at Crocus Expo from March 11–13, 2026. Over 50 health resort and tourism businesses and over 100 industry specialists joined this three-day event to showcase the region’s diverse year-round leisure offerings.

«Krasnodar Region resorts always participate in Russia’s top tourism events to stay ahead of trends. They strive to meet the needs of their potential customers and maintain their competitive edge. We would like to express our gratitude to the exhibition organisers for recognition and for featuring the region in the business programme. Despite challenges, the Krasnodar Region remains a leader in Russia's tourism industry. This year, we are intensifying efforts to develop alternative tourism formats, grow the accommodation sector, and raise service standards. Our goal is to attract tourists who visit us for holidays and wellness breaks all year round,» said Vasily Vorobiov, Deputy Minister of Resorts, Tourism, and Olympic Heritage.

The Krasnodar Region has been a regular and successful participant at the MITT forum for the past 16 years and has repeatedly earned top honours across multiple categories: «Best Stand of a Russian Region» in 2010, «Best Presentation among Russian Regions» in 2018, and «Industry Leader» in 2022. In 2024, the Krasnodar Region's resorts video was named among the best at MITT.

This year, among the participants of the Krasnodar stand were representatives from Anapa, Sochi, Gelendzhik, Novorossiysk, Krasnodar and the Temryuk, Mostovsky, Yeysky, and Apsheronsky districts. Both small and medium-sized enterprises and the industry’s leaders were represented at the forum, including accommodation providers, ski resorts, travel companies, and businesses specialising in wine, gastronomy, and active tourism. More than half of the companies offered year-round holiday packages. Seasonal businesses highlighted new attractions awaiting guests this summer.
