A wide range of processed products was showcased at the Gulfood international food exhibition in the United Arab Emirates.
«The successful participation of companies from the Krasnodar Region in Gulfood, the world's largest food and beverage exhibition, demonstrates the region's growing export potential and its ability to compete in the global food market. The regional delegation held over 200 meetings with business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, China, India, Palestine, Israel, Iraq, Jordan, South Africa, and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Companies are currently continuing negotiations with interested counterparties and finalising logistics and payment arrangements,» said Yevgenia Vorobiova, First Deputy Head of the Department of Business Development and Foreign Economic Activity of the Krasnodar Region.
TST, a producer of corn and sunflower oil, has reached preliminary agreements to supply over 2,000 tonnes of its products to one of the largest food retail chains in the Persian Gulf. Persona Coffee, which produces and roasts its own coffee, is in talks to supply trial batches to the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain.
Healthy Products Southern Region, a producer of fish delicacies, plans to increase its exports to the United Arab Emirates, India, and Kuwait from $20,000 to 30,000.
The Krasnodar Region’s joint stand at the international exhibition is organised by the Export Support Centre of the Krasnodar Region, with support from the Department of Business Development and Foreign Economic Activity.
