Construction sector generates one in five roubles of Krasnodar Region’s industrial output

The development of the building materials industry was the focus of a meeting of the region’s sectoral working group, which was held as part of the YugBuild-2026 international exhibition in Krasnodar. The meeting was chaired by Alexander Ruppel, Deputy Governor of the Krasnodar Region.

«The building materials industry is currently one of the primary economic sectors in the Krasnodar Region. More than 3,000 companies operate in this sector, producing a wide range of construction‑related products. Together, these enterprises account for more than 20 percent of the region’s total industrial output. One in five roubles of the Krasnodar Region’s industrial output is generated by companies in the construction industry,» said Alexander Ruppel.

The Deputy Governor also noted that today marketing is just as important a development tool as subsidies, low‑interest loans, or tax incentives.

Since 2019, nearly 1,500 businesses have participated in more than 180 collective exhibitions held by local manufacturers at prominent trade fairs. As a result, contracts worth over 18.6 billion roubles have been signed. Participation in central and local government procurement is an effective strategy for expanding market sales for enterprises in the Krasnodar Region.

Construction companies in the Krasnodar Region produce cement, ready‑mixed concrete, silicate blocks, ceramic bricks, blocks, and other prefabricated building products made of cement, concrete, and artificial stone. The leading manufacturers are located in the Krasnodar, Novorossiysk, the Gulkevichsky, Mostovsky, Novokubansky, Seversky, and Slavyansky districts.
